From the AP:

Jones was broadcasting live from the Infowars studio Thursday morning and appeared distraught, putting his head in his hand at his desk.

  1. The beautiful thing is that because it was a bankruptcy auction, the money The Onion paid for it is going toward paying the Sandy Hook families who sued doucheface into oblivion. It’s such a massively beautiful troll move.

  2. What do you mean, *his* desk?

I think you mean, *their* desk.

  3. I’m legit excited to see what The Onion will do with this platform. The satire business has been a tough sell the past several years, since there’s barely any distinction between reality and satire these days. But Infowars may offer them the ability to directly take on some of the bullshit in a way that, if we’re lucky, could actually move some opinions.

  4. They couldn’t compete with the craziness he produced so they had to buy him out

  5. I have to disagree with this being peak irony, ever so slightly. Peak irony would be if George Soros himself had bought InfoWars, seeing as how in Alex Jones’ make believe world, George Soros is the big bad. So Soros buying it would be the biggest middle finger in history.

  6. Now they should keep the conspiracy theory angle, but use it for good.

“The government doesn’t want you to get all your vaccines…”

“Car companies lose money every time you put on your seat belt. They don’t want you to use them.”

  7. Welp, time to catch up on Knowledge Fight. Im pretty sure those boys will have the full story 😂

  8. Well now that he doesn’t have Info Wars he’s free to go work for Trump in the White House

  9. I am laughing but also really sad to remembe 1/10 of the stories from his trial about what those followers did the the poor family’s of Sandy Hook.

  10. His head looks like a thumb. Or a big toe. A sad, bankrupt, insane big toe. With a beard.

  11. The Onion ironically more factual than anything on InfoWars

  12. The face the onion bought info wars is the best thing I’ve heard come out of America in months.

  13. The Onion simply bought their primary competitor in the absurd fake news story business. Good strategy.

  14. For all the terrible news coming out of the US at the moment, where the bad guys are winning and facing no consequences for any of their actions, this is so incredibly satisfying to read. I hope this asshole lives a miserable, miserable life.

  15. This POS made money of off calling school shootings false flags and encouraged his listeners to torment parents who lost children. Fuck him and his listeners.

  16. I’ve been looking everywhere – but can’t find it. Does anybody know what the sale price was?

  17. Good news for Infowars fans, the programming won’t change.

  18. Oh Noes! The Onion is making him cry.

  19. Maybe we will finally get some real news out of them 😂

  20. Was all that Roid rage 😤 worth? That was a very very expensive lesson

  21. They should do a Colbert Report style show where comedian does an ongoing parody of infowars and Alex Jones.

  22. Do you not know what irony is? Because there is nothing ironic here?

  23. Unfortunately, Alex has enough name recognition now that he could probably start a podcast tomorrow called the Alex Jones Show and get most of his old viewers back. Structure it so that one of his buddies owns the show and he’s just an “unpaid” guest, and there would be nothing the bankruptcy court could seize.
