Warriors fall to No. 10 Flashes

Whiteland suffered a 73-43 home loss to Class 4A No. 10 Franklin Central on Thursday. Sukhman Bains finished with 14 points for the Warriors (1-2), while Samantha Roadruck added nine.

Trojan girls, Greenwood boys win

Center Grove’s girls coasted past Perry Meridian on Thursday, 19-1. Jillian Rosener had the high game for the Trojans (3-1) with a 178, while Jameson Warren had the high series with a 316.

The Trojan boys lost to Greenwood despite a 232 game and 373 series from Tristan Felke.

Nuhfer honored by Holcomb

Greenwood graduate and University of Akron swimmer Grace Nuhfer was recently presented with the Sagamore of the Wabash by Indiana governor Eric Holcomb after winning a silver medal for Team USA at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris this summer. Nuhfer was subsequently recognized during the Indianapolis Colts’ home game Sunday against Buffalo.
