  1. The front looks like some sort of optical illusion. The inside looks like someone died there decades ago and they were only found last month.

  2. >This area offers an interesting and exciting project for a discerning purchaser subject to planning permission

Clever way of saying: you’re gonna have to gut the entire house if not level it. 🤣

  3. 5 paragraphs before it talks about the actual inside of the house. They should have it in big bold letters at the start YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DEMOLISH THIS FUCKER – HAZMAT SUIT IS NOT INCLUDED – BER Rating Z

  4. Well, it’s got road frontage. I’d be interested to know if there’s any site here at all that’s actually seperate from the new builds in the back or if it’s just kinda been forgotten about and now someone’s trying to make some cash by selling the ruin in their backyard. Also, how is it 5 minutes walk from the greyhound track to the bus station, is that during a storm with the wind at your back?

  5. That’s a bargain. Unreal location, it will sell for a lot more that 200k. I wouldn’t be surprised it if was closer to a 1mil than 200k

  6. I’ve never described anything as ‘Dickensian’ before today……Inside that house, that scene with the old bicycle and all the decay is positively Dickensian.

  7. In single people terms you’d need to be on 60000 a year alone to be able to draw a mortgage for the site alone 😂😂😂

  8. “fully furnished, lovely backgarden, fully detached from reality, exorcism not included but highly recommended “

  9. Not sure you see the potential here. Buy it do it up and the get students in there for 9 months of the year and AirBNB for the summer👀👀🤣😁

  10. Similar sites down the road have apartment blocks out back and as house up front. I assume it’s 200k with developers in mind and it’s still probably relatively cheap at that

  11. Here Jack, you know what we will do to make that house sell quicker, we will paint the front of the house a bright blue, and people will flock to buy it.

Nah don’t bother taking out the 90 years of death out of the back, and inside, sure it’ll be grand.

  12. I like imagining the story behind it. It’s like whoever owned it before refused to sell, even though he had clearly low means. I like the idea of somebody just wanting to live their life the way it is, where and how they want and not looking to chase money.

  13. How has that essentially gone unutilized/undeveloped about 5 mins from the city center of our 4th largest urban area?

I hope no one lived there recently but stranger things …

That plot of land could house a decent set of apartments if done properly but will most likely house one vanity project instead going by recent developments on the road.

Our property market is a basket case.

  14. People complaining that there is so many vacant/derelict properties in cities in Ireland then people complaining when something like this place goes up for sale ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
