In Lebanon, the war has forced almost a million people to leave their homes, some of them with nowhere to go, lost in a country foreign to them. The most vulnerable, are domestic workers, there are almost 150,000 of them in Lebanon, most of them African, from one day to the next they find themselves on the streets, several places have opened up to provide them with shelter.

  1. Lebanon is war torn and bankrupt. How desolate must a person's home nation be that they would consider Lebanon to be an economic promised land?

  2. Its well known that being a migrant in the middle east is a terrible idea. They are basically slave labor. You would think eventually they would figure that out. War or no war, they are treated awful. Stop going.

  3. I wonder why people choose to work in Lebanon, given that the country is economically struggling and largely collapsed, with much of the population living in poverty. It seems people would be better off going to a wealthier country.
    Poor lady’s 😢

  4. Liban and the right destination. They are ven go and o Africa , especially in Ivory Coast to make money. So why would you chose this area as a migrant?

  5. Illegal or legal, crowds of migrants like this hide terrorists easily. No wonder with these kinds of communities in Lebanon, it's not surprising the I—-c terrorsists took hold.
