8. To be fair, as someone who is a defender of Israel’s existence and self-defense, this could be about Palestine but it could instead be due to rowdy post-service traveling Israeli youth. There are a number of youth hostels in Peru near popular surf spots that banned Israeli tourists due to the extremely rude behaviors of tourists from Israel who had just completed their military service. They are notorious in Latin America and elsewhere for generally aggressive and disrespectful behavior and trying to negotiate prices that were already set and were already very cheap. It’s a cultural problem that is not related to the I/P conflict.
