    Donald Trump has promised to impose tariffs on imported goods as part of his economic agenda in his second term. While China stands to be punished the hardest, other countries, including U.S. allies, are also set to be impacted.

    The president-elect ran on a pledge to use tariffs to boost American businesses, with up to 60 percent duties on Chinese goods and up to 20 percent on imports from other countries.

    If he actually does it then inflation spikes.

    The our Fed Reserve chair hikes interest rates.

    That will cause mass layoffs and a recession. The one Joe Biden kept us out of with his “soft landing”.

  3. I’d be curious to see what would happen if tariffs are put in place, but there is no fed to set higher interest rates. That is what would happen then if the interest rates were just a negotiation between creditor and debtor.

  4. The most damage will be to the USA, but he will want to cause economic problems for the EU.
