  1. If the artillery is indeed used in Ukraine it could provide Russia with a substantial boost in firepower for long range bombardments and siege operations

  2. Monstrous, as opposed to the cute and welcoming kind of artillery

  3. Makes an awful big target, don’t it? Hard for any drone cam to miss…

  4. > However, North Korean arms shipments to Russia violate multiple U.N. Security Council sanctions resolutions prohibiting such transfers as well as training and services associated with their use, the expert added.

So glad we will continue to do nothing meaningful to enforce this, continuing to show our growing weakness in the face of conflict.

  5. Wait.. Spotted where, exactly? Maybe we can get some GPS coordinates so Ukraine can ‘verify’ if this is true..

  6. North Korea getting involved with Ukraine and SETTING FOOT on Ukranian soil is the wildest plot twist ever

  7. The assumption is that the North Korean products will actually work as advertised – which is a very big assumption. I can’t imagine North Korean artillery being any better than what Russia has been using. I mean the story from yesterday was one leopard tank stopped an entire Russian column by itself.

I mean, you can’t trust the North Korean soldiers that are there to work it because presently they are deep into Internet porn and probably can’t think of anything else.

  8. Looks smaller than the Archer artillery Sweden has been sending to Ukraine. Doesn’t really matter, NK only has 60 year old tech.

  9. More targets for Ukraine, however we should make sure we get our promised equipment and ammo get there so the NK Art and Ukrainian weapons can meet personally

  10. It’s hilarious that Putin’s Russia is so desperate that they need troops and arms from North Korea.

  11. Hang on. NORTH KOREA is sending military hardware to RUSSIA? Am I reading that correctly? North Korea? If Russia is depending on NORTH KOREA for military hardware, things must be really dire for them right now.

  12. Ukraine is fighting the main baddies of the world – Russia, Iran, and North Korea.

It’s time for the rest of the world to step up.

  13. A theory about this 170mm cannon Is that Is a derivate from the German 17cm kannone studied by the soviets After WW2.

    Crazy.

  14. These antique-looking cannons look like a despots wet dream. “Comrade, that is not a cannon. ( Pulls up with a cartoonishly long mobile gun.) This is a cannon.!” If TRump sees this he will order his new Secretary of De-fence to have every tank refitted with an even longer barrel.

  15. Not much of an expert on the subject but can we even assume their tech is capable of getting there and doing anything? This is North Korea were talking about, I doubt anything they have will work or survive long enough to win a fight.

  16. On the bright side, this is likely removing artillery pointed at Seoul from the equation. It might be less likely that NK will attack SK in the future if their artillery resources are depleted.

  17. Very questionable quality and accuracy. And the best part is that Russia does not use this caliber artillery at all, so all the ammunition has to come from NK. This is an additional logistical headache for a military that isn’t that great at logistics to begin with. This is yet another sign of desperation by Russia because they can’t manufacture artillery barrels to make up for their insane losses.

What it does show is that Europe is going to continue to sit on its hands and do nothing about NK troops and equipment on European soil.

  18. Those sure are some pretty targets. Be a shame if something happened to them.

  19. I mean this is clickabaity… This system is no more capable then the ones the russians already have. I mean this is just taking a 1960s naval gun and throwing it on a tracked chasis. Sure russia is prob running low on 2S7s, but it’s not some long lost tech. The system is relatively simple to produce

  20. South Korea needs to come round with a lot of K9s. It’s the obvious solution

  21. Biden better green light unrestricted targeting in Russia after this shit.
