Been hearing stories for a few years now that the security here was absolutely terrible, this confirms a lot of that.
As I said in the other thread, long overdue, should’ve had their license suspended years ago. Discriminatory door policy, bouncers only letting people in who they think look gay enough. License should only be re instated if new owners are put in place
Good get new security/ownership and call it heaven.0. Gave the late night “club” scene a horrific reputation
It’s incredibly rare to get such a fast charge (and furthermore, remand) on a rape. The evidence must be fairly overwhelming.
This is the second serious incident to occur at the venue in recent months. On the 07 May 2024 there was an incident that took place in Villiars Street where three members of the security team were filmed assaulting a customer in the street. This led to engagement with the venue and the dismissal of those involved. However, concerns were raised by the Police at the time regarding the [redacted] who was present that night. No action was taken by the venue regarding [redacted] position and [redacted] is again present during this recent incident.
