  1. College fees going up. Ask Betsy for help, she‘ll lend you the money!

  2. But just think, all those high paying jobs that the illegals were taking away will now be open!!! Surely all of these kids with 50-125k in debt will get hired on the spot. Pay rate sir? Normally it’s a dollar a bushel but for you? Ima willing to go up 1.25! Work fast and don’t pay attention to the pain. Oh and we don’t do the whole water break thing here. Good luck!

  3. They gave me this red hat and Andrew Tate said it was cool so…… I’m broke

  4. Funny how SOOOO many people voted against their own benefit.

  5. So glad I just graduated. Less happy that it was with a healthcare focus…

  6. Ok all of these political memes and not one of them Dem or DnC or Harris based 🤔.

Again people vote based on how they feel. Simply without greater context, Harris didn’t make a convincing campaign. Not everyone believes in “falling in line” or “doing what you want them to do” that’s something I don’t think Liberals will ever understand unfortunately. Sometimes listen to people without wealth is helpful

  7. No but you see, now we have free market to lower the prices! Just like we saw in 2020-2021 with housing & groceries & rent & trades & chips, when people have less money the universities will be forced lower the prices.

  8. Defunding those community trade schools they’ve been proping up (justifiably) non-stop to own the libs.

  9. This meme applies to literally everyone who is not a billionaire that voted for him.

  10. “but…but…but muh performative activism for Palestine!”

  11. Nah, my sister thinks she can start and finish her second degree before Trump kills the dept. of Education

  12. How does this work for Professors? My aunt is a college prof and voted trump. if this happens does she lose her job?

  13. I keep commenting this in any DOE threads:
    Bye bye student loans!
If you are in school and rely on student loans, I expect you to be unable to return for the 2025/26 school year.
Med students 2 years in will be stuck with $100k+ debt and unable to finish their degrees.

  14. They call educated folks woke and complain about college turning people blue. This is all part of their plan to cement their radical, detrimental, knuckle dragging, regressive politics throughout future generations.

  15. Counting the days everything in America becomes close to 80% more expensive than today’s prices.

  16. I see that the “shame the voters” strategy worked so well in this election many on here have decided to learn absolutely nothing and just double down on it. Smh

  17. from the river to the sea

  18. I think I’m finally understanding the Boomer vote of “fuck’em”. At this point let their votes really do the damage we expect and step aside for a moment.

  19. They will miss the days when single ply toiletpaper was their major grievance.

  20. White, college educated voters were one of the only segments for Harris that held/improved. The people who voted for Trump aren’t getting hit by this.

  21. College students don’t typically vote for Trump, though. It’s the people who don’t go to college.

  22. This is so only the children of the rich can go to college and get the white collar jobs afforded with a college education. The way it should be, like in the good old days. Children of the middle class and the poor get to join the military.

  23. I don’t know what colleges are going to do when FAFSA is cut. There is soooo much competition for students and if a large portion of those students are no longer able to access funding to attend enrollment will plummet. Imagine 70% of all enrollment drops. Colleges will have to lay off a massive amount of people.

  24. I feel like this meme is going to get a lot of mileage the next four years.

  25. All part of the plan too keep America uneducated, easy to brainwash, and Republican

  26. Can we just remove the law that made loans undischargeable through bankruptcy? That will fix the problem…

  27. In all fairness Aidvantage already has me by the ankle at $35K (Master’s in Finance at least, lol), so the damage is already done for me.

  28. Tuition will actually come down once the federal government stops subsidizing loans.

When colleges know that they can charge any price and people will still get loans, they tend to charge much more than if this wasn’t the case.

  29. Someone on another app posted that their child (currently in community college) was worried about the Pell Grant being discontinued, and someone responded “good thing trump has a plan to make college free”

It’s entirely possible that I’m out of the loop bc I don’t pay attention to everything he says and does, but that was the first I’d heard of something like that. They’re basically writing fanfiction about him and what he supports so that he’s *conveniently* the best president for whatever issue someone might be concerned about at any time

  30. So do yall think public education is good right now? Cause everyone, for a long loong time, knows it’s been ass, even the democrats knew this, everyone agreed, but since it’s the right doing it, now yall think it’s bad?? Plus no one ever said the funding is going to completely disappear, theyre literally just revamping it cause of the moment of people there just giving themselves more money and not helping the community

Is that like how we were once against corporate but now we side with corporate? We’re supposed to fix our issues, regardless of the side, who cares who doing it, as long as someone does their damn job, which the left hasn’t been doing.

  31. Think of all the students and young people whose parent’s jobs are funded by Department of Education grant and program funds.

Now delete their income from the economy.

All 15 million of us plus billions of dollars each State gov applies for to reallocate Americans tax payer dollars to their State deleted or halted for three years or more

See DE money goes into states pockets then states distribute them for public schools or for public higher Ed, sped teachers, and directly supports the poorest states in the union.

And all the states have to do is report back they spent the money on kids, students, and special education as well as seniors. Because in the past they didn’t do that and kept that money back from undesirables.

Yes so I hope everyone liked helping unemploy millions of people who you love, take care of your kids, and make sure that money is spent correctly.

  32. Thinking about all those PPP covid loans that were forgiven to businesses. Course when Biden wanted to cancel student college loan debt it was a non starter.

  33. Burned the bridge with a former colleague gloating online about the MAGA win this week after years of seeing her posts. Kindly reminded her of her young son’s disabilities and hoping the lower cost of eggs will offset her needing to pay for specialized care once the DoE is gutted.

  34. I know someone that voted for Trump who is currently on a nice pension from the local school board.
