I come from a non-EU country (Balkan) and i have my brother in Berlin. I would like to get a Work Visa and live together with my brother but now the Law for us in Balkan is that i need my Chef/Boss for me in Berlin behörde to apply for an VORABZUSTIMMUNG and then i can get the opportunity to apply for a visa in my country in German Ambassy and get the visa.

I want to work as postman (Pkw) at DHL or Amazon or maybe in McDonalds, does someone know if any of these 3 Companies can offer me this (vorabzustimmung) and apply in the Germany Behörde (institutions)? Or maybe in the group we have Company owners that are looking for long term Workers that have a similar job to offer me and the vorabzustimmung. I am 20y/o also speak B2 level of german language and also fluent English
Please someone help if possible, other companies that offer Postman or Restaurant in Berlin are also an option for me .

  1. i dont think this is for these kind of jobs. it sounds to me as if this is for qualified jobs, not for unqualified jobs, like delivery driver or working in a fastfood restaurant.     or im completely missing sth. who told you about this law?

  3. Yes, your employer is able to apply for a pre approval for these jobs. You and your future employer are required to apply for a pre approval before applying for a visa if you want to use the western balcan regulation under Sec. 26 (2) BeschV.

    It can be pretty confusing to be honest as there exist different kinds of pre approvals. The one you need is applied to and issued by the federal employment agency. What you do not need is the pre approval for the fast track procedure.
