Protesters are storming the parliament building in Russian occupied Abkhazia at this hour in reaction to Russians passing discriminatory laws allowing for increased looting on behalf of Moscow. Until Russia’s 2008 invasion, Abkhazia was part of Georgia, now under Russian control

  1. And Russia …
“The Russian Foreign Ministry recommends that compatriots refrain from traveling to Abkhazia
Russians temporarily staying in the republic need to be careful and, if possible, leave the country.

The Foreign Ministry also added that they expect the situation in Abkhazia to be resolved
    exclusively by peaceful political means.
Moscow does not interfere in internal processes in Sukhum. …”
МИД России рекомендует соотечественникам воздержаться от поездок в Абхазию

“Exclusively peaceful … Moscow doesn’t interfere.”
I did not make that joke.
It was the Russian propaganda station “Govorit Moskva” and
    mother Zakharova.
This probably means that Russia doesn’t have the troops left for an intervention there.
Or should they send NK troops there?

In general it is about a mutual investment agreement with Russia that was to be ratified.
And now the opposition in Abkhazia fears that their own oligarchs sell for instance the best
resorts on the Black Sea to Russia.
“Nice independent country you have there. But what is still yours?”
