Work isn’t going to say stay at home, it’s not safe.
I’m not getting bullied by something called Dudley or Eunice ffs.
Mind all those people looking forward to global warming so they could get a sun tan 😅
Fencers absolutely rubbing their hands with glee rn.
This is only going to see more people try to brave the winds to show they are not put off by wind and rain. I expect the RLNI and mountain rescue teams will have to deal with a few idiots this weekend.
I can work from home with no issue. Have done since pandemic start.
I live 1hr away by train.
I have to be in three days a week, I was in Tuesday but couldn’t go in today due to my trains being cancelled.
I have to go in tomorrow and Friday.
You know in the old days we used to call this “a bit windy”. Sigh
Time to work on a new sexy pose to look awesome while standing in the wind… I might even point at something in the distance.
The train hit a trampoline at Cardiff at 16.00. The train was the 14.22 from Swansea to Paddington. 1.5 hours to get to Cardiff from Swansea? Christ.
“Let’s go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for this all to blow over.”
Which one is Eunice again? Is it in the southwest/Cornwall or is that the other storm?
I’m flying to London friday morning. How risky is it going to be?
It’s bin day tomorrow. Do I risk putting them out and wake up to them down the street? Or risk it being one of the rare occasions they collect at 7AM instead of 1PM and try and put them out in the morning?
Thank goodness a lot of people stayed in; the roads were lovely and quiet:)
Nature really does not want us going outside this decade huh
I can’t because I have work and need the cash. My walk is gonna to be fucking interesting.
Tried to order something from Amazon and noticed nothing on their site seems available for next day delivery, it’s all pushed to Saturday. If Amazon won’t deliver then you know shit is serious.
I have a pub on a coastal area, and when it gets like this I close up for the health and safety of my staff and customers. Still get complaints from people who tried to come in, and not caring that my outside heavy furniture is getting blown away.
Friday is meant to be the first night me and the wife have had away together since having our son 5 years ago.
So of fucking course the worst storm in 32 years has to fucking hit
I’m by the sea at Butlins. I’m sure it will he fine.
Well I’m right by the Bristol channel severn bridge area and it’s slightly breezy , thought this thing was attacking at 7am🤷
