Hey all, I'm just curious if anyone can make our the brand name on this label. I thrifted something I really liked and wanted to locate the brand to see more of their stuff. That's all the identifiable info on the item of clothing.🤷🏻‍♀️it's made in Slovenia, it's Merino wool and it's pretty cool. Thaaanks

  1. I’m not sure, but maybe Lisca? Maybe an older logo. They offer lingerie and pajamas

  2. My mother said it’s probably Almira. I did a quick search and there was a company named Almira that produced clothing and I believe the “al” in name stands for “alpine”, so wool coat could be theirs?

    But I couldn’t find the exact logo to confirm and honestly, I don’t see “Almira” in that.

  3. The *tenine part on the top left seems like the whole word would be “pletenine” (knitwear in english), the whole tag may contain some other clues, as the logo itself isn’t very readable (at least to me)

    It says Mina or Nina or possibly Ming (but the latter doesn’t really make sense). But likely the company is not active anymore.

    Edit: Oh, it could also be Mira, the more I look at it the more I’m convinced it’s Mira.

    Pletenine Nina exists, but it’s got a diffrent logo. Owner for Pletenine Mira has a linkedin profile,

  5. This is a list of Slovenian companies and private enterpreneurships with “pletenine” in name or description. Doesn’t look very good, I’m afraid… Maybe the “Nina”?

  6. There were a lot of very obscure clothing brands in Slovenia. if says made in slovenia, it should not be older than 33 years. anything before 1991 it would say made in Yugoslavia.

    it would help, if you would post the entire tag, not just cut out. it may contain a place name or something similar or more clues.

  10. It’s one of those tiny knitwear makers. Not from one of the really large known ones. For some reason Slovenia has a ton of tiny manufacturers and designers of knitwear.
    I don’t have anything with that logo, but from what I read down below I can see how this could be “Mira”. Usually what these tiny ones do is quality stuff, but the designs tend to be more catered to personal preference. Not really fashion that would fit a wide taste.

  11. The font is italic, so the fourth line must be the letter i.

    The first could be a stylized capital A, if it is a U, then what is the letter before the i? It could be an L, then u, i, z, a. Luiza. But I can’t find anything useful with that name…
