Fucking 90yrs later and the boomers who actually fucked up, tryna guiltrip the younger generation still. And then we ended up like this.
I asked one of my friends with a migration background why so many younger 3rd generation migrants still cannot adapt to our culture, he said something that stuck with me:
“How can you, as young dude, identify yourself with a country where even its own people are ashamed of the country. And not proud of it.”
