ALL hail, the mighty WHO, a private, unelected entity with the power to decide what’s wrong and what’s right
What they showed is that they’re really bad at their jobs.
This should be a career ending mistake if true for both Kostrikis and his PHD student for not verifying correctly and for their inexperience in this. They should have never rushed to the media to proclaim their discovery. Additionally it screams amateurism from the lab that carried out the sequencing because it is their fault for contaminating the samples.

I’ve seen scientists peer-review the data and all have said the samples taken were contaminated. Here is a virologist talking about [it](https://twitter.com/PeacockFlu/status/1479910337730293774?s=20). It’s just embarrassing now…
Conveniently, the “check our work” tweet was deleted https://i.imgur.com/GpDKGkm.jpg
