Well, of course. We’re living in the age of “let’s take everything good out back and shoot it in the face.”
No surprises here.
Not Coca-Cola!? Not the family friendly company that has used literal death squads to put down strikes in non US countries. They’re so wholesome!
Don Draper you dirty dog
Santa wouldn’t have wanted this.
It wasn’t before? I guess AI made it worse somehow?
It looks like those videos on tiktok of ‘what if legend of Zelda was the dark crystal?’
The Butlerian Jihad can’t come soon enough.
I’m so excited.
Complete with the weird AI smiles straight out of Black Hole Sun
It’s a sad world when even a multi billion dollar company like coca cola can’t even afford actors.
Same with most television shows and ads nowadays.
Bring back the polar bears!
Seeing all the Coca Cola logos being all smudged and janky made me laugh.
Nobody learned from the stupid Google AI ad that they had to pull during the Olympics after all the backlash?
Can’t wait for this to be the destruction of tech and the billionaires who don’t know their asses from their elbows.
The market will speak. Hopefully sooner than later.
Dystopian and most frighteningly bland…
Glassy dead eyes and smiles that are just a little too wide.
Watches commercial: is this 16 second ad really worth all this fuss?
>Coca-Cola’s European CMO Javier Meza told [Marketing Week](https://www.marketingweek.com/coca-cola-ai-holidays-are-coming/), “We didn’t start by saying: ‘OK, we need to do this with AI’. The brief was, we want to bring Holidays Are Coming into the present, and then we explored AI as a solution to that.”
My wife works in post production at an advertising company and I can say w/confidence that this guy is lying. ALL of the major companies are trying to force through AI now b/c they see it as a cheaper way to do everything. They do NOT give a fuck about doing anything correctly anymore. It’s always “We need a discount here and we promise we’ll bring more business later…. and if you don’t we’ll put your contract up for review” or “Why does XYZ cost this much even though it’s been explained to me 100 times already let’s do it cheaper”, and then “Hey why does it look bad even though you told me it would look this way if we cut out XYZ from the process??? Can you just make it right FOR FREE EVEN THOUGH THIS IS OUR FAULT GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE blah blah blah blah.”
What a weird ad!
That video is unbelievably cursed.
I’d rather they repair the vintage 90’s ads than some creepy AI concoction.
Ew. Somebody needs to sit down with all these new folk AI has created and teach them how to smile. It’s not as simple as showing your ever-so-slightly-larger-than-reality-gaping-maw-full-of-too-tiny-teeth. Use your eyes, you creepy monsters! I suggest not paying them until they stop snarling at us….. ^oh, ^wait, ^nevermind.
Is it much different than the original?
Um. Corporate ad campaigns as they are, are inherently soulless and indicative of living in a creepy dystopian nightmare.
It’s no shock a large company would be cheap
Does this mean AI polar bears in the US?
So, nothing has changed, except it’s now AI?
What happens when inevitably an AI generates someone’s exact likeness?
*Polar bears… Shouldn’t give this… to their babies.*
The fucking hands, man
At least Campbell’s & Hershey’s have the decency to run the same ad for years with barely any edits
Just run the old ads with the train decorated with lights.
And still AI cannot do hands. That bottle pass off looked so fucking weird. Like Polar Express weird.
