>”I think there is a growing convergence around the fact that Europe needs nuclear energy. It doesn’t mean that every country is going to have nuclear energy again, [it’s] a matter of political choice,” the director noted.

I can agree 100%
If its not renewable, it’s not green.
I’ve always thought of nuclear energy as green… and glowy.
In other news: National Milk Association says drinking milk is healthy and International Pig Farmer Association says eating pork is proven to taste better than eating mud.
Of course it is. The fact that anyone has ever said otherwise is insane. We need way more nuclear all over the world.

The best place, really, for molten salt reactors, are in north Africa.
Run power cables undersea, fresh water pipes as counter current, and use a combo. of solar thermal, solar, and molten salt as
(1) Aluminum and magnesium refining [should have started this 50 years ago]
(2) Radionuclide refining
(3) Tungsten, molybdenum, and chromium refining
(4) Silicon and gallium refining.
Austrian, German or any other politicians with 60IQ who think that gas is better than nuclear energy should be imprisoned

No conflict of interests. Moving on
I like nuclear, but the opionion of a person whose literal livelyhood is dependent on an issue might not take the most unbiased position…
Only reason why people are against nuclear is because of fear mongering. It’s our best option for the time being. Here in Sweden we shut down nuclear plants in favour of other “Green” alternatives. We also had to fire up coal plants because those “green” alternatives aren’t reliable.
it’s about time we take some brave decisions.
It isn’t, and neither is any other energy source
I am german and embarrased for my country. I hope some day we will realise that nuclear energy is part of the future.
Nuclear energy is green energy when compared to burning coal, like alcohol is healthy when compared to arsenic.
