Hej r/Finland,
I found a car I would like to buy and import to Sweden the owner said it was registered in Finland.
I wonder where or if it’s even possible to search information (as a Swede) such as inspections, owner info or unpaid taxes.
I tried looking at https://www.traficom.fi but couldn’t proceed because lack of identification login.
Do I have any hope running a background check on this car only got the license plate number and can’t find any info on it by running it through Carfax.

yes, go to [rekkari.fi](http://rekkari.fi) and pay for a full info list (only 3-6 eur depending on the option you choose) and youll get all of the information including inspections, previous owners and their names, meter history, previous insurance companies responsible for the car etc. ive personally used this every single time ive bought a car and its actually saved me two times from being straight up lied to
