  1. Looks like they weren’t good at dealing with brie-aucracy…

  2. Brie-xit strikes again. And nobody in customs saved the Baby Cheeses

  3. Gutted for the cheese makers.

I bet they were really cheesed off

  4. Liz will be so upset, but what about the pork markets we cry.

  5. We export zero thirds of our cheese. THAT. IS. A. DISGRACE

  6. Once the cheese was stuck in customs, the result of the competition was a Fetaccompli.

  7. Why is it whenever there is a cheese story all the puns start?
I can’t think of any other subject matter that attracts so many puns.

  8. I wish I could participate in this pun fest, but I’m afraid I’m suffering Emmental block.

  9. “the Guild is granted a special licence each year to import cheeses, and British cheesemakers complied with all the conditions”. Countries that were “typically much more difficult to import for the judging”, such as those from South Africa, Japan and several South American nations, were able to compete. While the exact cause is still unknown”

Something smells odd, and not just because its a cheese event!

  10. So obviously misleading but their readers will eat it up without question because it confirms their biases before criticising readers of other newspapers they disagree with for not questioning articles they read. The cycle continues, same as 50 years ago, same as in 50 years time.
