  1. > The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) announced the stamp designs for 2025 on Friday, Nov. 15, revealing that one of the stamps will be a portrait of The Golden Girls star, who died in 2021 at the age of 99.

    > “An icon of American television, Betty White … shared her wit and warmth with viewers for seven decades — including roles on The Golden Girls and The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” USPS said in a statement. “The comedic actor, who gained younger generations of fans as she entered her 90s, was also revered as a compassionate advocate for animals.”

  2. I wouldn’t say “Finally”. Until just a few years ago, one had to be dead at least 5 years before a stamp in their honor could even be considered. The only exception being dead US Presidents, which could get a stamp one year after death. The first person the rule changed for was Maya Angelou. Betty has only been gone less than three years.

  3. That’s all well and good, but when will I ever get a Golden Girls LEGO set? They keep getting promoted on Lego Ideas, but never get greenlit for development. For shame.

  4. Wait… Betty White died for real this time???

  5. I’m still waiting on Sherwin Williams to make an official “Betty White”

  6. She’d probably be happy if they ousted DeJoy and invoiced him personally for all of the brand new sorting machines he had destroyed. Betty would feed him to the gator without hesitation.
