7. _The problem with all this “Russia is in trouble” news is that it is irrelevant for Putin_ . As a dictator he does not fear his voters and neither he suffers from these effects.

   For all we know he can go on sending soldiers into Ukraine to fight until he literally runs out of men. As long as there is bread and ammo for the soldiers, Russia can still fight. So no point waiting for some economic solution. They need to be defeated on the battlefield. Ukraine needs more help, especially more weapons.

11. I’m getting sick and tired of reading this. Ruble is only slightly under the pre-war average and not close to plunging.
