Two flash bombs were fired towards the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in the northern city of Caesarea, which fell in the garden area, according to police reports on Saturday. The statement clarified that neither Prime Minister Netanyahu nor his family were present during the attack and no damage was reported. This marks the second time Netanyahu’s home has been targeted.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog condemned the incident in a post on X, saying that an investigation was underway. He further stated that actions aimed at provoking Prime Minister Netanyahu had crossed all boundaries.

Israeli Defense Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir also expressed his disapproval of X, calling the throwing of a flash bomb at the Prime Minister’s residence a “further crossing of a red line.”

Earlier in October, a drone was launched towards Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea, but no damage was caused. Meanwhile, to the north, Israel has been engaged in combat with the Lebanese Hezbollah group since October 2023. As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for Saturday’s attack on Netanyahu’s home.

Medical personnel confirmed that the camp was housing displaced families and some were being treated for injuries. Rescue operations were ongoing at the UN-operated Abu Asi school, where there were fears that people might still be trapped under the rubble.
The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the airstrike. However, later in the day, the Israeli army reported that two rockets fired from northern Gaza had been intercepted.
