  10. This is why the UK should implement a new model: anyone who arrives illegally is permanently banned from ever receiving asylum or a legal visa, and are deported immediately.

    We should also do an audit of the hundreds of thousands of people we provided asylum status to over the last few decades, any one of those who have commited serious crimes **or** who have been found to visit their home countries they were ostensibly fleeing from should have their asylum status revoked and should be instantly deported.

    We should continue to take in a modest number of refugees but from _actual refugee camps_ in warzones e.g. Sudan, Palestine, Haiti – and we should only take in vetted women and children who are the most vulnerable – maybe like 10,000 a year from a mix of refugee camps.
