The very definition of Republican Americans! Illiterate, uninformed, persons who know nothing about their own country’s history. And, they worship a dictator wannabee just like Germans did in the early 1930’s. But, still “very devoted ‘Christians’ and ‘Patriots’!
You can’t be doomed to repeat it if you never learn it in the first place, checkmate libs!
This is what we get for letting “no child left behind” become the standard. We, as a country, let that generation down. Instead of having standards of basic knowledge and not being able to teach in a manner that encourages research and critical thinking, we have a couple generations of people who cannot think rationally and recognize fact from fiction.
This is what the Nazis did. They got rid of intellectuals and people who knew what was happening only to replace them with apologetics and sympathizers. Pushing the doctrine that theirs was the only correct way. So many similarities to how many dictators came into power. But, that’s history and it doesn’t apply to modern events. Things like that could never happen again… Right?
