1. I’m guessing they’re not happy with how their taxes are being spent or the state of their public services.

   They’re not vandalising art or sat in the road blocking traffic or getting in the way of other people going about their business.

   They should be allowed to continue peacefully protesting as is their democratic right.

3. It’s tragic. When Blair bombed Iraq into oblivion, it was Syria that took in 100,000 fleeing Christians who lost their homes. Then the utter destruction of Iraq spread to Syria and 4 million fled the country. Go back through what’s happened and the UK and NATO has to bear some responsibility for the domino of chaos across North Africa and the Middle East and the humanitarian crises in the med. UKs only experienced the tip of the iceberg and is losing its shit over it.

7. One of the signs says “Pensioners Lives Matter”. Did I just hear someone complaining about pensioners when they have massively benefited from the rising house prices and receive an above-inflation state pension every year for the past 2 decades? If there’s one group that hasn’t been fucked over by the Tories, it’s the pensioners.

   Bring on the downvotes, if you cared you would be protesting at your representative’s office or outside parliament …the people behind the actual policy. Except no, your deep seated hatred is with brown people so you need to channel that hatred towards them.

10. I’m surprised they don’t just house the majority of asylum applicants and refugees in towns and cities that clearly want to welcome them, such as Brighton.

    Instead, they house them in poor midlands and northern towns or in places where the townspeople simply don’t want them there.
