Why are Germans like this?

  1. They have been obsessed with them since darker times. It’s in their blood i guess

  2. Are you asking why we are autistic? Just because.

If you question why we love trains I need to raise a couple of points:

    1. We are autistic
    2. You can drink beer while traveling and not lose your driver’s license
    3. A German isn’t happy if they can’t complain. DB gives you endless reasons to complain -> infinite happiness

  3. Trains are cool. I love riding them (when they aren’t delayed, making a 90 min trip into a 120-150 min trip), just a shame it costs an arm and a leg for me to take one, even with my railcard.

  4. I remember taking the train for the first time in Germany. It was going from Berlin to Frankfurt Oder.

It was moving at high speed
    In a perfectly straight line
    Through a thick forest
That was trimmed just 0.5cm away from the windows.

I remember thinking: “what’s wrong with these people?”.

  5. Must have been a train in another country, riding a train in Germany always makes me angry

  6. Taking the train is pretty nice, if it is on time for once

  7. Because trains are cool, who doesn’t love trains and building them all across the world

  8. Japanese too. A lot of western weebs actually should condition themselves to become german transport otakus. That would be more harmonious.

  9. Meanwhile normies:

    1 be not depressed.

    2 ride the train

    3 be depressed

4 thanks Deutsche Bahn I guess

  10. >be me

    >train arrives 20 seconds late

    >next decade of my life ruined

  11. Trains are noisy and full of people. They make my tism worse.

  12. My brother in Christ… TRAINS ARE HELLA FUCKING COOL!!!
