  1. I’m hoping he’s right, yet t
Trump could easily slow the transition to clean energy…

  2. But they’ll probably open up more protected land to fracking/mining interests

  3. Yet the guy constantly shit canned renewables – especially wind – during his campaign, to the delight of his adoring cult members. Wonder if they will see this as a broken promise?

  4. Trump will not only reverse some of the progress made during Biden, he will reverse any climate progress the US could’ve made with an administration that is not openly hostile toward climate action. The Trump administration’s anti-climate action agenda will also have an effect globally. Does anyone have any info re. the effect Trump’s hostility against science might have on climate action in other countries? We can already see some negative effect and he hasn’t even started yet.

  5. I dunno what Steyer is smoking? Did he not watch Trumps election campaign, or WHO he’s going to put in his government?

There will be some renewables Trump won’t be able to stop, but his 2025 action committee is undeniably full of climate change denialist muppets.

Trump is selfish. And he knows his time on earth is nearly up. AND he’s so vindictive, it’s likely he’ll take us down with him?

  6. Two words for Americans reading the comments: STATE ACTION.

The federal government has been lost and is going to be dismantled. Blue states control a massive part of the U.S. economy. All politics is local. Get involved, bother your state and city reps, lobby your governors! A transition of the blue state economies to clean energy will force the hand of other states. Look at Texas, they hate green energy yet, I think they may have the most solar energy generation in the United States. Blue states need to be put performing them.
