  1. About fukin time. To be fair both the UK and France already wanted to authorise this but the US was blocking it.

  2. Weird how this has all just happened “now” and “all at once”.

  3. As I read this news our radio at work is playing Danger Zone.

Should’ve happened way earlier but hot damn is this the best news Ive heard in a while.

  4. Is there currently anything more than just a social media post about this decision?

  5. FINALLY! Well, I’ll still toast to this and any dead russians this results in.

  6. Gloves are finally off. Almost 3 years though to get to this point? I can’t wait to see the results over the coming weeks

  7. Tomorrow is probably going to have some juicy videos for us!

  8. But UK seized the supply of these missiles for a long time ago.

  9. Maybe even IF US keeps some dumbass Kursk restrictions, atleast they’re releasing the stable of every other countries’ tied up long ranges with a US chip or 2 in em, for ALL russian territory…

  10. Im sure this has been discussed here before but what would happen if Ukraine strikes Russian Oil Refinery/Processing Sites (with long range missiles or through sabotage) and it severely affects Russian oil manufacturing? Would Russia be forced to escalate the war in Europe just like in the novel Red Storm Rising?

  11. right after putin claims the west is discriminating against Russian speakers in the EU. It’s pretty obvious this fool was never going to stop at ukraine.

  12. France and the UK gave the authorization long ago BUT the SCALP/Storm shadow actually had some US-made components, so OF COURSE the US vetoed their use in Russia by Ukraine just like for their own weapons. That’s why it got authorized just now, they just removed their FREAKING veto…

That is why France does so many things independently from the US, even if it meant partnering with the USSR back then or Russia more recently, because we get vetoed EVERY FUCKING TIME WE DON’T. Missiles ? Veto. Planes ? Veto. Aircraft Carrier ? Veto. Satellite ? Veto. FFS.

Good thing our underwears are made in China or we’d be running butt-naked in the pampa.

  13. I hope ru is still running in trying to minimize damage the strikes are made. So it is painful as possible. Unfortunately that’s all they understand.

  14. Good, I recently saw that the Russians are massing a new force to attack Kharkiv again. Supposedly the inability to use long range weapons across the border prevented Ukraine from breaking up the attack before it began even though they knew where the enemy units were when Russia attacked Kharkiv earlier this year.

  15. Hopefully France is working on alternative to US components for cruise missiles so this won’t happen ever again for us. That’s why it’s foolish to depend on foreign nations for critical weapon systems.

    🥖💥

  16. Absolute wonderful news. How many of the long range missiles does Ukraine have though?

  17. As much as I wish this was true, this is literally fake news. The UK has NOT approved anything yet, nor has France.

Ukrainian newspapers have used a French article as a source which literally invented the fact. The whole thing is a misinterpretation and now everyone is copying the French article.
