Is it normal in Finland to have vacation pay included in the hourly wages or did I get screwed there? Fortunately it's a two month contract and if I extend I can ask for it to be separated.
No, it’s not normal and depending on the wage could also be illegal
Not normal in general, but seems to be very common in short term contracts via medical recruiting agencies.
Personally I dislike the practice, as it makes comparing their offers with “normal” wages difficult/bothersome. I guess it’s easier for them to budget that way?
Edit: Then again, it’s easy to predict your own income when it doesn’t sway around with the amount of statements or minor operations that happen to get assigned to you to deal with. Anyways just remember that with a “normal” salary you either accrue vacation or get the vacation time paid as a fixed % of your hourly wage, with usually the vacation bonus? (lomaraha) paid as well. i.e. it seems a bit higher than what “normal” eur/hour would get you.
It’s normal in short contracts and rental work, you will get the same money anyway.
Looks like a scam

Highly depends of the type of work and how much is the salary. If the salary is like 10 euros/hour with all that include, definetely a scam.
I think it is a universal thing that different very short-term expert positions have simplified packages, but that is countered with higher base salary. For example, consultants often do not have health insurance included, but their base salary is such they can continue to pay their previous insurance (Not the Finnish system, just a general example). So lack of holidays should mean that you can have the same amount unpaid holidays (if you want and you are granted those) and still earn the same as those actually going for paid holidays (who have to take those holidays… to stay productive in the long term.
The terms highly depends on the Collective agreement applicable to your contract. Without knowing any details, difficult to say anything 100% correct.
