His suffering is not unique, according to a United Nations’ report based on interviews with hundreds of current and former detainees on both sides. The report claims Russia is carrying out “systematic torture” of Ukrainian prisoners.*

   And this is what Putin’s asset will appease.

   There needs to be a conversation and some form of manipulation-proofing.

   Social media what with every damned authoritarian state/oligarch (i.e. Musk) astroturfing the open internet (after having closed walled their own net). And some other kinds of rot too.

   We are in the dying internet era if not the dead internet yet.

2. And people wonder why Ukrainians don’t want to be conquered by russia again. They were tortured, raped and massacred under the soviets, and judging by the behavior of the orks invading them now, that’s how they will be treated again.
