Flynn has all the ambition and back room dealing corruption of a Francis Urquhart but none of the competence
Stephen flynn is full of shit
Whether you like him or not, Stephen has shown time and time again that he has the talent, charisma and chutzpah to stand his ground in frontline politics.
At a time when our leaders have been relentlessly ground down by the mainstream media, it is good to have somebody championing Scotland at the heart of politics.
The ‘Flynn for SNP Leader’ is disintegrating at a rate of knots…. and it’s all self inflicted.
Publicly, he has made a right arse of this. Right now, he probably needs to backtrack. I don’t see him doing that. Can’t have it both ways. Keep doing this sort of thing and you’ll guarantee to lose votes.
Not sure I believe anything part time MP and full time grifter Stephen Flynn has to say these days.
The guy is shameless.
Narrator: it wasn’t lies.
I guarantee you that the man who helped sex pest Patrick Grady will have tried to get Nicoll to stand aside.
The skull 💀
Don’t care if it’s not true. I do care about him wanting to be both an MSP and MP. First and foremost, his job in either of the roles *cough* full-time roles *cough* is to serve his constituents. Doing so while travelling between Edinburgh, London and his constituency simply can’t be done without it affecting that.
I had wondered whether Flynn convincing Yousaf to terminate the BHA a few weeks before the greens thereby throwing away his majority, and with it his premiership, was an example of deliberate sabotage or political ineptitude.
His hopeless handling of this mess answers that.
And the choice to succeed swinney is this clown or Forbes?
Sad times. The SNP is a shell of its former self.
Scotland deserves better.
It’s interesting to watch the story unfold and see it fumbled.
If the objective was to avoid a by-election in South Aberdeen you do have to ask why. Currently, the seat has a sizeable Labour/Tory split that allows the SNP to come up the middle. With Labour’s shakey start and the Tories ongoing issues, that was probably a good seat to gamble on retaining that they could also push as a genuine victory against the other parties.
Instead, they may just have turned people off and put that seat at risk if an election is held soon.

Haha first thing that popped into my head
Needs a steak dinner and a sunbed also to grow a beard if he can.
