1. I’m sadly willing to bet money it either doesn’t happen, or it happens but is underwhelming to what the actual needs are.

2. Cop out 29? Where the ultra wealthy send their government lackeys to spread misinformation,  while passing the cost down to us?

   Climate change needs workable physical actions. Not throwing money all over the planet to hide the acts of the worst culprits.

   Taxing the majority so the entitled few can escape to their guarded enclaves, underground survival caves, and orbital space stations? Or figuring out how to colonise Mars?

5. I think the environment optimists need to do some soul searching – it is clear we are not going to act to save ourselves, which, frankly, comports with a number of observations from researchers that shows advanced civilizations often extinct themselves during simulations by ignoring climate.

6. Good luck with that. We can’t even agree to not annihilate each other with nuclear bombs so we keep making more and threatening each other and one day someone is going to make a mistake. Poof the end of everything. Then a million years from now something will evolve up again and the earth will balance itself out again like we were never here. Problem of climate change solved.

7. I think they’ve already agreed on financing the destruction of the climate by bending the knee to oil and gas
