Sanford Stadium was like nothing anyone had ever seen before, truly.

The fireworks created an element newly unique for a Georgia night game. The Bulldogs rarely orchestrated blackout — by the fans, at least — created a gorgeous aesthetic for the first night game of the season, and first home game in 37 days. The energy from the student sections was palpable, arriving before Georgia’s team entered for the Dawg Walk.

It made for one of the all-time great games in Athens, Ga.

Georgia’s commits felt that environment too.

Several of the Bulldogs’ 2025 commits shared with Dawgs247 what they saw from that game day experience in Sanford.
