  1. O Earth, once calm, now scorched and bent,

With skies that burn and lands lament,

The heat that strikes with fiercer hand,

Is born of greed that mars the land.

From lofty peaks to oceans wide,

The climate weeps, no place to hide.

The fire, the drought, the blistered air,

All rise from wounds that none may repair.

In forests deep and oceans blue,

The signs of sorrow grow anew.

And yet, mankind, with heedless stride,

Doth walk where shadows do not hide.

‘Tis the crisis wrought by hearts unkind,

By minds that chose to blind the mind.

The cost of folly, now laid bare,

A world of loss, beyond compare.

O human heart, where art thou gone?

To turn away, or face the dawn?

The heat that rises, fierce and bold,

Demands a tale that must be told.

Let not the winds of change pass by,

But rise, and make the heavens sigh,

For in the storm, we have a choice—

To hear the Earth, and heed her voice.
