  2. We live in a “what the market will bear” economy, and those at the tippy top of the money ladder have been and are looking for ways to increase what the market will bear. Simple truth is that there are two ways to accomplish that increase: increase wages and salaries to bring the bottom up, or make credit freely available.

    The richest had all that extra cash laying around, so they said ~~”Know what? We can share more with our workers.”~~ “Know what? Let’s lend this money to poor people so they’ll buy our shit and owe us even more!”

    This is not a new economic practice. It was brought to the forefront with Reagan’s policies and put on high octane fuel under Clinton. Every President of our United States since has made sure to keep the billionaire$$ happy by helping to push this economic enslavement practice.
