  1. Damn im sure this is a wild coincidence with the cable between Germany and Finland

  2. All I want for early Xmas is european politicians grow a pair a react accordingly.

  3. Another one. I wonder who could do such thing! Maybe sharks?

  4. And europe cant do anything and wont do anything. Except strongly worded letters if that.

  5. There’s gonna be more of that coming, thanks to how strongly European leaders have been reacting to sabotage in the past.

  6. The EU will surely respond with strength and force, for example with a letter that condemns this act.

  7. Start impounding Russia bound ships in the Baltic Sea.

  8. Everyone knows who did it and everyone knows what they’re threatening, but at some point you make them either put up or shut up.

There needs to be a dozen countries and dozens of vessels launching missiles into Eastern Ukraine to destroy Russian positions and then a notice through the media to let the Russians in Russia know they’re next if there’s any more escalation.

  9. This is all to get EU talking about shifting focus from aiding UA to protecting themselves.
Sending even more aid to UA is the best response to this aggression.

  10. Just after Ukraine got the okay to use long range missiles from the us

  11. Would be a real shame those missiles accidentally hit those Russian ships.

  12. Now that most sane businesses have dropped Russia as a region, how about blocking Russian IPs on a routing level. Most cloud services and things worth accessing are in the EU/US anyway.

  13. In last week‘s interview the former head of the FSB Nikolai Patrushev spoke about that the UK and USA allegedly had plans to cut undersea cables and disturb Internet connectivity. That was a very timely prediction.

Edit: I do not believe the UK or the US was responsible for that.

  14. I do worry about the cables in the Irish waters. I hope other European countries are doing a good job of protecting them because we sure as fuck aren’t.

Whoever makes up our next government needs to understand being neutral doesn’t mean you don’t build up a defense to protect the country, infact I’d say you can never stay truly neutral if you don’t have the means to protect yourself.

  15. I honestly don’t understand why we don’t respond but cutting them off totally (direct connections). Let them route through Asia and we can filter that also..

  16. Ah, yes, yes. Just like the pipeline “incidents” between Estonia and Finland October of last year…..

  17. Scholtz went out of his way today to say Taurus is not on the table. What a bunch of wussies we are.

  18. Dont worry everyone its ok those who are doing this have nukes so bend over and take it.

  19. Alliance of two nuclear terrorist dictatorships who are also kinda China proxies attacking a peaceful European democracy meanwhile western press mostly discussing reasons why Ukraine must surrender. Now two such cables severed right around the time of a terrible “escalation” of allowing Ukraine to strike back at Kursk oblast (0,17% of Russian territory). Putin will chip away all credibility of western deterrence bit by bit until there’s nothing left. Sad.
