   Ukraine’s GDP before Russia invaded was 150 billion USD. Every nation that’s given them any loan has waited until they could back it up with frozen Russian assets because they don’t think Ukraine is going to be able to pay it back.

Once you wade through the *sToP ThE WaR On dAy oNe* and *ThE US aRe gOiNg tO FoCuS On tAiWaN* tabloid newspaper drivel, it just seems that Republicans are going to pivot from free aid to some form of loan agreement — a bit like what they did for the UK in WW2.
