**IOC is calling on** ***all*** **sporting agencies around the world to ban all Russian athletes** completely until further notice. It’s a matter of saving lives. The goal is to promote unrest and protest, possible riots in Russia to end Putins regime. There is no keeping Putin in power at this point, he must come to an end by whatever means necessary or leave Ukraine immediately.
Also, I’m proud of Finland for sending weapons to Ukraine. I hope we both are able to join NATO immediately. Coming from someone that was on the fence about it only a few years ago, I no longer feel that way even in the slightest. I think for Finland, it’s significantly more important.
For those not understanding why the Olympics are wanting all agencies to ban the Russians, its not to hurt the atheletes but to stop Putin. He uses sports as a way to show that people really aren’t upset with Russia. He also uses it as power plays when played in Russia itself. They are some of the most drugged up teams on the planet ontop of everything else. This sends a very clear message that he will not use sporting events to his advantage, that everything is not okay with Russia despite what their propaganda tells them in Russia and that civil unrest is not only promoted by mandatory to end the war in Ukraine and to save countless civilian lives.
lmao how about we just beat them and humiliate them even further. As if I would want to miss out on wiping the floor with them, in favour of trying to have them expelled. This is a man’s sport, you beat them according to the rules, not because you are salty about some irrelevant political situation
