Russia forcibly conscripts Mariupol lads into its invading army

Even if you don't want to help Ukraine, for whatever stupid reason, THIS is going to be the result for their next attack on the Baltics and/or Poland. They're going to round up any remaining Ukrainian men and force them to fight for Russia against them. You can count on it. If we stop helping Ukraine, thats a lot of pissed off Ukrainians who know how to fight……..now being forced to fight for the other side.

  2. i dont see how ukrainian men would help the country that rapes their wives and daughters. Sure, they can forcibly conscript a few scared boys, but arming too many of them is likely going to be trouble for russia.

  3. Really hope Ukraine intelligence can keep track of them and snatch them up. Can’t imagine they’ll be given weapons so will probably be sent as meat shields

  4. Last year i was sympathetic on Ukrainian in the east being conscripted and one Ukrainian reply to my comment. He prefer that those Pro Russian became cannon fodder so it will be less ukrainian traitors. I didnt even think about that way but it is cruel and some were pro ukraine but i get where he is coming from.

  8. This has always been a war of subjugation. And if subjugation is not accepted, then it simply proceeds to genocide.

  9. This is a war crime of sorts and if they forced me to do this, I’d do it badly, screw it up and sabotage them at every turn.

  14. Why weren’t these areas evacuated? Soldiers should be the last to leave to prevent exactly this, civilians being forced to fight for the enemy.

  15. Is that how Russia fights in future conflicts? Aggressively push conscripts from newly conquered lands to fight their wars? I hate this.

Ukraine now has to fight not only abiding international law, but also having to figure out a way of discerning those that are there unwillingly to save them and bring them back to Ukraine controlled territory. “Want to live” and other sources exist, but it will be very hard for thise Mariupol boys to get their hands on devices to contact Ukranian side. Fucking orc scum, I hope they all suffer for eternity
