What stupid Tube games do you play to keep yourself entertained?
After seeing this piece of graffiti on a Central Line train, we now play Tube Equations, where the aim of the game is to make an equation from the numbers at the end of carriages on some of the lines.
The rules of Tube Equations:
– you can't move any numbers;
– you can't combine numbers together to make a bigger one without a function, so a 2 and a 2 next to each other are just that, they are not 22; and
– you can only use recognised functions and have to work from left to right (so no '2 into 4 is 2' type nonsense).

Incase anyone is too lazy to work it out, it’s 7.
911 / 61…
Big if true!
Could have also had 9=1+1+6+1 or 9-1=1+6+1 and 9-1-1-6=1
*squint* this is one of those order of operations designed to trick people isn’t it? You are going to tell me the answer is 17 or something.
Much as this is a good game, it is not the original and best game, indeed the game of games, Mornington Crescent. I’m sorry I haven’t a clue why more people don’t play it.
who is this maths genius?
