I downloaded an SVG of Snow's map and added tiny individual black blocks to the relevant buildings to represent the cholera deaths of occupants. There are six white water pumps around the edges of the map and the darker Broad Street pump is roughly in the centre. The deaths clustered around this pump were used by Snow to convince health officials that cholera was waterborne rather than "in the air" (the miasma theory). He removed the pump handle and the death rate decreased. I snipped off the handle in tribute.
