BRICK, NJ — Brick Township officials are seeking residents’ input on the town’s open space and recreation plan.
The Open Space and Recreation Plan was developed in 2000 and officials want to update it “to reflect current trends in open space and recreational needs,” township officials said, including future parks and other recreational amenities.
The update is being done to help the town put grant funding from things such as New Jersey’s Green Acres Program to use in the most efficient way, officials said.
Township officials are welcoming input from the public through multiple avenues. There will be a table at Saturday’s Thanksgiving Farmers Market at Windward Beach Park and there is a public hearing set for 6 p.m. on Dec. 11 at the municipal building, 401 Chambers Bridge Road.
