Edit: I have just learned that the Estonian and Finnish airspaces are connected, so if both are closed, that effectively blocks the Baltic sea routes for RU planes, even if Sweden doesn’t take part. Now, this only leaves Greece and Turkey to complete the block, at least towards the West. And Norway, though they are not very relevant for Russian flights.
this will hurt Finland more than most. Finnair’s pitch was a shorter trip to Asia over Russian airspace. Had to be done though.
