Using (not enough) space you have, as effectively as you can. Dubrovnik, Croatia

  1. It looks so comfy for me. Imagine just playing there with your bros in the evening after school or something.

  2. Probably two “1 on 1” courts.

Also the yellow rectangle on the ground appears to be some sort of mini football pitch with small goals. They could have put another meet at the lower end of this rectangle opposite the other, but it probably would be a less efficient use of space.

  3. It’s still good for two separate street basketball games. We played mainly street basket while at school. It’s only played on one hoop.

  4. I love Dubrovnik so much. It’s my favourite place on Earth. The city is beautiful, the food is amazing, the people are very friendly. I’ve been there 3 times this year. I honestly cannot recommend it enough, it’s so much better than any of the famous European destinations! And watching the sunset at the Srd mountain is awesome!!!

Edit: I actually plan on retiring somewhere near Dubrovnik or Peljesac areas 😀

  5. Its odd to think that’s a place where people live on a daily basis. It’s so old and lived in it looks fake almost in how it’s built. As if it’s a movie set.

  6. My high school had a football field/tennis court on the roof! As a girl, t was kinda weird though, doing PE stuff while middle aged dudes on break from taller office buildings nearby watched us from the windows

  7. I went in 2017. Stayed on an island, had to get a boat to the main land(sort of wish we were on main land). Paid the fee to get on the walls, and my lass bottled it. Had to come down as it was too high for her.

  8. Houses in the old town are crazy cool. I arrived thinking the rental I’d got was some sort of cupboard, only for it to open up inside like a hobbit house.

  9. – Ivanišević: where is place for the net?
    – Modrić: It’s OK. I grew up scoring to the goal denoted by two schoolbags.

  10. They are setup as well for 3 on 3 basketball right? I only know this is a thing because it was on during the olympics and Eastern European teams were competing.

  11. That door in the top right of the court with the stairs leading down to it is one of the best hidden gems in Dubrovnik. It’s a fantastic museum around the remains of a medieval foundry. I think it’s one of the top places to go on tripadvisor (so maybe not that hidden) but it’s very off the beaten track.
