TAIPEI, Nov 22 (Reuters) – Taiwan President Lai Ching-te will visit Tuvalu, Palau and Marshall Islands in the Pacific, the presidential office said on Friday.
Lai will leave Taiwan on Nov. 30 and return on Dec. 6, Deputy Taiwan Foreign Minister Tien Chung-kwang told reporters.
Lai’s transit stops are in planning stages and will be announced at an “appropriate time”, Tien said.
