Did the Kremlin ask for a new meeting with Ukraine?
Stalled or a tactical hold? They are still pushing east of Kyiv. They already [reached Baryshivka](https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/1499052440804593679/photo/1). If they capture Boryspil airport from there, then Kyiv is surrounded on both sides with two airports they control.
I hope all of them flee in terror by the ferocious defense they’re about to go up against.
The Russians are likely preparing their order of battle for taking Kyiv. Unfortunately, today’s momentary halt to their columns is just a pause before the final battle for Kyiv.
The standard tactic used for the last 100 years to take a city is to first barrage it with long range weapons. Then encircle it with armor and press from all sides, gradually strangling the city’s defenders and supplies. Lastly, infantry will be sent in to mop up the urbanized areas. It will be a bloody mess. I would hate to be a civilian trapped in Kyiv now.
Why don’t the Ukrainians send their UCAVs? That’s a long juicy target.
I think the Russians are fucked. They have tens of thousands of Russian troops sitting in vehicles north of Kiev in freezing temperatures consuming food and fuel.
US intelligence has reported that most of the delay is due to food and fuel shortages due to the messed up Russian logistics, the Ukrainian attacks on rear supply lines, and even reports that many Russian soldiers are deliberately poking holes in their fuel tanks because they have no desire to fight Ukrainians.
If the Russian convoy is short on fuel now before they even get to Kiev, how the hell are they going to have enough fuel to even get out of the area once they actually make full contact with the enemy? Even more of their supply lines will be attacked, and their fuel consumption will increase even more once combat starts.
That convoy will never arrive I guess

It’s not exactly a cause those soldiers can get behind, liberating Kiev from locals, especially locals who can taunt you in your own language.
They are just waiting for the order. Moscow is allowing people to flee from Kiev.
Any battle in big cities are brutal. Who want more civilian death? But of corse is good Vs evil rethotic, so nobody want to think of that.

The russians are waiting for as many civilians to evacuate Kiev before the final push begins. They have made no effort to surround the city or cut off any major highway for this very reason. The problem I see is that western media has already declared ukranian victory, but the battle hasnt even begun yet.
Now seems as they need supply for their supply collumns.
Is it just me or does advertising a huge convoy of soldiers and weapons to the whole world seem like a weird military strategy?
why don’t they use drones to destroy the convoy?
The Russian soldiers must be bored out of their minds they have been sitting in those trucks for 4 or 5 days and the temperature is hovering around freezing . Exhaustion & illness has probably set in.
If the US really wanted to help they would send their special forces into Ukraine disguised as Ukrainian soldiers.
God NATO pilots stationed nearby must be so blue balled. This is like the perfect target. I wish we gave Ukraine more long range artillery, rockets and attack drones

What about the destruction on the convoy with some >100mm artillery? Any news on that?
Just 1 battery on 10km with a spotter could blow this to shreds. These unarmed ammo and gas tracks burn immediately.
