  1. Ah so he’s spineless as well as a tax dodger. Cool!

  2. Wasn’t he pretty open about it being a tax dodge? The fact that he’s grown to love the farm is ultimately a good thing.

  3. It’s not tax dodging to use lawful tax breaks to lower your tax burden. Labeling it as “tax dodging” is misleading at best.

  4. Tax avoidance is not against the law. I don’t see the issue.

  5. His accountants and lawyers read the rule book. Good for him.

  6. It’s funny to see people that only know him from his TV shows discover his personality. He’s very openly an absolute piece of shit who thinks taxes should be for poor people. He’d have us all in workhouses if he had his way

  7. You can hate Jeremy and Top Gear or whatever. But this show is legitimately good from a person who doesn’t even care for farming. I’m also Canadian and love the British barrier

  8. It’s not tax evasion is avoidance. Anyone here saying if they weren’t given a legal option to not pay tax they’d refuse it is a liar. Yes tax is important and necessary, but none of us enjoy paying it regardless.

People buy gold jewellery as an investment because they’re taxed on the money they have in their bank account over a certain threshold. Guess jewellery is ground upon now.

  9. Man who bought farm as a tax dodge learns about the plight of the farmer, learns to love his farm, and becomes and advocate for farmers.

Why is everyone headline so negative? Why is it such a crime to grow as a person? Why is becoming better “doing a U-turn” or “flip flopping”?

  10. I really can’t understand why celebs are not allowed to change their mind. Dude likes farming now, probably didn’t think he would, dude changed.

  11. He bought it as a tax dodge. He said as much. The fact he likes farming is irrelevant.

  12. Imagine being someone in this thread *defending* this utter worm, have some self respect, he’s not gonna give you his tax break cash

  13. His show about the farm is the most useless boring thing I’ve ever seen.

  14. It does sound like a Classic type of Clarkson poorly thought through joke.

Like if he can point out a shady thing rich people do to dodge taxes he will do it, even by doing it himself.

This is a man who shouted in the streets about James May’s Electric Car Tax Breaks. James May is a wealthy man dodging taxes by buying Electric.

I think as the concern of farmers grew, he just kinda had to walk back the joke.

Is this right? He’s basically said the estate tax should apply ONLY to the Rich people trying to dodge Taxes (like himself) but NOT to the genuine family farm owners?

If that’s where he’s at, that’s kinda based.

  15. I love Jeremy Clarkson before this and I will continue to love him even after , no one could change my opinion about you m8 !
