Expatsi, a company that helps US citizens seeking to move abroad, saw a surge in ­inquiries about relocating to Ireland in the two weeks after the US election results were announced.

TV personality Ellen DeGeneres is reported to be settling into the Cotswolds, in south-west England, since Trump won, while actress Eva Longoria, who has moved to Spain, said she fears the Republican leader will turn the US into a “terrifying place” if he fulfils his promises.
