Hans Carossa (top left) seems to be a well known writer and lyricist between 1920-1950 and one of Germanies most read author that time. Around a century earlier is Achim von Arnim (top mid/right) who is an important representative of the German romanticism. He wrote in the early 19th century.
Late 19th to 20th century was Cäsar Flaischlen active (bottom left book) writing poems. According to wiki he was quite successful but is mostly forgotten today.
Bottom mid you have a magazine edition of a magazine collecting international novellas in late 18zh century.
Bottom right is a scientific publication about a Kongress of the middle european Germanistic Association from 2010, Vienna.
