I don’t think we buy a huge amount of Russian gas in the UK, but eg Germany are something like 60% supplied by Russia. They had to make that exemption in the sanctions otherwise they would, quite literally, not be able to keep the lights on.
I would definitely be unloading a Russian tanker full of oil and gas . And confiscating it permanently
Can we not just unload it, bolster our supply, and refuse to pay for it?
I mean, “confiscate” obviously.
Could help out with our fucking outrageous energy bills right now.
